Dreamy's Birthday Poetry

Overture

Meldraw’s eyes
Like whirling pools
Of finest wine

I am drunk with love
Mad with passion
Yet impervious to my pleas

She turns back to the episode of House on USA

Movement I:

How like the moon are
Britomart’s earlobes

Mesmerizing orbs
That enthrall mere mortals

Distant, yet so close
To wandering poets

Such as I

Movement II:

Wackie
Jackie’s eyes
As blue as the Arizona sky

Glaze over when I start spouting
Meaningless drunk poems

I pass the chocolate chocolate chip ice cream
She subsides
In sugar-soaked stupor
